App Marketing Specialist

Position Description:

OOK Group is a fast-growing company based in Moldova. We specialize in mobile and web applications development, as well as developing strong and scalable back-end systems to support our internal projects. We work together to design and create digital products that we are proud of for the people we believe in. Our products have been chosen by more than 40+ mln users worldwide.
We are looking for an App Marketing Specialist to join our team in Moldova.

Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in mobile app marketing, specifically user acquisition;
  • Experience with both paid, organic, and viral/social app growth strategies, including experimentation with alternative channels (influencers, communities, PR, etc.);
  • Understanding of mobile marketing KPIs and unit economics (CAC, LTV, ARPU, etc.);
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize UA campaigns;
  • Experience with ad creative production (briefing, iteration, testing);
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in campaign analysis and reporting;
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently;
  • English — Upper Intermediate or higher (for platform usage, reporting, and communication).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute both paid, organic, and social/viral user acquisition strategies for our mobile app (iOS and Android);
  • Launch, manage, and optimize paid user acquisition campaigns across Meta Ads, Google App Campaigns, TikTok Ads, Apple Search Ads, and potentially programmatic networks;
  • Analyze performance metrics such as CPI, CPA, ROAS, LTV, retention, and churn;
  • Work closely with the creative team to brief, test, and iterate ad creatives;
  • Set up, track, and analyze campaigns using MMPs (e.g., Adjust, Appsflyer) and analytics tools (Firebase, GA4, Amplitude);
  • Conduct A/B testing of campaigns, creatives, and onboarding flows;
  • Own budget allocation and ensure cost-effective user acquisition;
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Develop and execute both paid and organic user acquisition strategies for our mobile app (iOS and Android);
  • Launch, manage, and optimize paid UA campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ad Campaigns, TikTok Ads, Apple Search Ads, etc..;
  • Explore and test alternative growth channels: influencer marketing, partnerships, referral programs, viral loops, PR placements, community engagement, and content marketing;
  • Work with analytics and attribution platforms (e.g., Adjust, Appsflyer, Firebase) to evaluate performance across all channels;
  • Drive continuous growth experiments to uncover new, scalable acquisition methods;
  • Monitor user behavior and key funnel metrics to inform acquisition and retention strategies;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and content to align growth initiatives.

Is a plus to know:

  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing platforms and MMPs;
  • General understanding of ASO;
