Our client, a renowned international FMCG company with a strong presence in global markets and a diverse portfolio of well-known brands, is currently looking to strengthen its team by hiring an Accountant, Chisinau.

ACCOUNTANT, CHISINĂU

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accounting operations are in full compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and aligned with the specific nature of the company’s business.

Handle day-to-day accounting operations and document preparation outside SAP, including:

  • Imports / local purchases
  • Sales / distributor discounts
  • Warehouse movements / write-offs / delivery logs / fuel
  • Fixed assets / depreciation / act preparation
  • Donations, promo activities, packaging, etc.
  • Reconciliation of transactions in the General Ledger (GL).
  • Verification of supplier documents and tax code assignment.
  • Preparation and validation of scanned documents.
  • Inventory checks and reconciliation with distributors.
  • Annual reconciliation with clients and suppliers.
  • Advising employees on primary documentation processes.
  • Timely and accurate reporting submission.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit
  • Solid knowledge of national accounting standards and tax legislation
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with 1C accounting software; SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent in Romanian and Russian; English – at least Intermediate level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proactive attitude and orientation toward results and continuous improvement
