Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

We are opening a new position for a QA Automation Engineer in our Open Banking Compliance squad. This role will support three key areas within the OBC product line.

The QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in evaluating existing testing processes, designing, and implementing an automation testing framework. Working closely with a Manual QA Specialist, they will ensure seamless test coverage and maintain high-quality standards before production deployment.

What you’ll do:

• Test Analysis: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and define testing needs.
• Test Automation Framework Creation: Design and develop robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Test Automation: Automate functional, regression, and performance tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Test Result Reporting: Create comprehensive test reports, track test execution, and identify areas for improvement based on results.

Technical Skills Required:

• Java 8 or greater, Strong understanding of Java Design Patterns, Rest-Assured, Selenium/Playwright, PostgreSQL, Cucumber, Log Reading, Basic Linux Commands, Kibana, GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Cucumber Reporting

What you need:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in test automation, including framework development and API/web testing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
