Dispatcher – 2% Gross Pay Incentive

APL Cargo Inc., an INC 5000 fastest-growing company, operates a modern fleet of 100+ units, including Peterbilt, Mack, Freightliner, Western Star, and Volvo trucks (2020-2023 models). We specialize in expedited dry van and refrigerated services nationwide, partnering with industry leaders such as TQL, COYOTE, ECHO.

Position Benefits

• Salary: $2000-$5000/month based on performance

Position Summary The Dispatcher orchestrates operations for our diverse fleet, ensuring optimal coordination and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage dispatch activities for dry van and refrigerated operations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and team members
• Provide 24/7 driver support and resolve operational challenges
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and enhance operational efficiency
• Strategically allocate loads considering all operational factors
• Ensure DOT compliance, especially for temperature-sensitive cargo
• Collaborate on fleet maintenance

Qualifications

• At least 1 year dispatch experience preferred, not required
• Fluent English, with advanced level written and verbal
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Proficiency with dispatch software
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS rules beneficial
• Available to work 3 PM to 12 AM shift
