Java Software Developer

We are ISD, collaborating closely with our partners from Inther Group in the Netherlands, to develop cutting-edge Warehouse Management Systems. Now, we are looking for a skilled and driven Java Software Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing and developing new modules while enhancing existing ones, all aimed at driving logistics automation.

What are you going to do?

• Collaborate effectively with the development team to ensure smooth and timely feature delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Demonstrate accountability by taking ownership of assigned work and driving it to completion with attention to detail and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, with a strong focus on code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices and project standards.
• Continuously improve by seeking out learning opportunities, staying up to date with modern Java development techniques, tools, and trends.
• Be open to occasional on-site visits to our headquarters in the Netherlands and to customer premises, as needed for project requirements.

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Java 17 and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in Spring Boot (2+) and Hibernate
• Practical experience with building and working with RESTful APIs, dependency management using Maven, and database management with PostgreSQL
• Experience with WebSockets, ActiveMQ, Camunda, Vue.js (versions 2 & 3), Angular (version 12+), Jenkins, and Docker is highly advantageous
• Keen attention to detail – you excel at identifying inconsistencies and maintaining accuracy, ensuring that each line of code and every feature upholds our high-quality standards
• Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English
