Linux Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join our Orange IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our Linux-based servers and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administrating systems based on Linux OS hosted on virtual environment and physical bare metal
• Setup, configure and patch servers, storages, backup systems
• Controlling user access to resources and information
• Performing data backups and recoveries
• Monitoring and auditing systems usage
• Providing resolution of systems failures, including hardware, software, firmware, systems and applications
• Automating administrative activities and workflow through scripting and integration with Ansible
• Setting up and maintaining documentation and standards
• Working as part of a team and providing 24/7 support when required
• Collaborating with suppliers for technical support
• Reporting on activity to the Team Leader

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT systems administration and maintenance
• Knowledge and experience in Linux systems administration, automation, virtualization and cloud technologies
• Experience with Linux configuration tools such as Ansible
• Experience with virtualization solutions such as Linux KVM, VMware, etc.
• Knowledge of servers and storage technologies, NAS/SAN environments, disk arrays, backup systems
• Experience working with Linux logical volume management and multipathing
• Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, etc.
• Good communication skills (English is mandatory)
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Responsibility and reliability
