Strategic Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, you will be the face of Salt Edge for a defined set of strategic clients. You'll own the relationship end-to-end, from acquisition to expansion, ensuring our solutions align with the clients' goals and our vision for the future of open banking.

What you’ll do:

  • Client Acquisition & Growth

Identify opportunities, build pipeline, and win new clients with a consultative approach.

  • Account Management

Be the main contact, build strong relationships, set collaboration goals, and ensure client success.

  • Product & Solution Selling

Master Salt Edge’s platform, tailor solutions to client needs, and channel feedback to product teams.

  • Collaboration

Work with Product, Tech, and Support for smooth onboarding, client satisfaction, and impactful improvements.

  • Performance & Reporting

Meet sales targets, track KPIs, and maintain accurate forecasts and updates.

  • Market Intelligence

Monitor industry trends and competitors, share insights to strengthen strategy.

  • Negotiation

Lead contracting and renewal discussions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

  • Account Growth

Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to deepen partnerships.

  • Regulatory Guidance

Stay current on PSD2, GDPR, FIDA, and advise clients on compliance.

What you need:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or partnerships, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or APIs.
  • Strong understanding of open banking, financial data services, or API-based ecosystems.
  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
