PHP Developer

We are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join our growing IT team.

EcoFinance is a fast-growing fintech delivering accessible B2C financial services worldwide. Through brands like Creditprime and Honey Loan, we offer short term loans, instalment loans and lines of credit via our online platform. With over 5 million clients across Romania, Moldova and the Philippines, EcoFinance ranks among the top ten microfinance providers by loan volume.
As a PHP Developer, you will contribute to building new functionality, improving system reliability, and enhancing our technical processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with modern PHP frameworks and driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement requirements and features;
• Collaborate with a team of middle/senior developers, empower the team’s technical skills;
• Contribute to the goals of the business by bringing new ideas and by improving the existing processes and technical solutions;
• Support system stability, robustness, and overall reliability. Improve existing CI/CD processes.

Requirements:

• Experience working with PHP (Symfony, Zend, Laravel, Vanilla);
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and development principles;
• Knowledge of Databases and SQL;
• Attention to detail and ability to plan your work independently.

Will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with PostgreSQL;
• Experience with other programming languages like Java, C#, Python, Go;
• Work experience in the FinTech field.

Compensation level for this vacancy starts from 57.500 MDL NET, position will have standard taxation model. There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every candidate we meet, so compensation level depends also on your level of technical expertise and competencies.
